A company called TOKAU has recently announced the launch of a full-fledged virtual city based on the Metaverse. They are naming it MetaCity.
MetaCity will be the first-ever decentralized place of its kind where people can buy digital land and take its ownership, just like real estate in real life. There are a total of 150,000 lands, waiting to be opened for sale in January 2022.
While the page for MetaCity would be ready early, many of the other important functions will only be available after 26th January.
TOKAU NFT holders are being rewarded as they would be given one land at no additional cost. All of them will share the ownership of that land.
TOKAU MetaCity is being promoted by many celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Allen Iverson, Ian Somerhalder, Russel Simmons, etc. who are in collaboration with TOKAU. These celebrities have reportedly accumulated more than 200 million fans, many of whom could be the future potential owners of land in MetaCity.
One question that might pop into the minds of many people is that what is this MetaCity and how will it work? MetaCity will be a virtual space for people to interact with various celebrities. In doing so they will be rewarded with 'TOKAU tokens'. The main value carrier in MetaCity is Ore NFT, which users can get by stacking their TOKAU tokens.
TOKAU token holders and TOKAU NFT holders would be able to enter MetaCity where they would get various Airdrops.
