Apple's Rumoured Spring Event 2022 | What to Expect?

In 2021, Apple held a launch event in spring that was full of new releases. From new iPad to new Macs. This year seems to be going in the same direction too. An Apple Event is rumoured in early March (somewhere around 8 March). Let's find out what may Apple give us in this event.

Apple has been trying to sell more of its smartphones in cheaper markets, especially in Asia. But most of its flagship smartphones cost a fortune to us. So, they came up with the iPhone SE in 2016, a cheaper version of the flagship iPhone.

The 3rd Gen iPhone SE has been rumoured to feature the same old iPhone-8 type design. Though it would support the A15 Bionic chip from last year's iPhone 13 models. It would come with 5G support. The 5G inclusion and the Apple tag would definitely make it a hot-seller given it maintains its $399 price tag.

Three new Macs running on macOS Monterey have been listed on the Eurasian regulatory database by Apple a few days ago. Out of the three, two are desktop devices while the other one is a laptop. If previous trends are to be followed then Apple lists devices 1-3 months before launch. Though in some cases it may be as early as a year before the launch.

If the new laptop is based on the same silicon as in the latest MacBook Pro, "Mac mini Pro" may come with a 10-core CPU, double memory and a bandwidth of up to 400 GB/sec. And, if it follows more trends that came back with the latest MacBook Pro, it may bring back the SD card slot and support for 10 GB Ethernet.

The new iPad Air is expected to catch up to the features currently unavailable in the present models but is available in the latest iPad Mini. Some of the features that may come to the new iPad Air are A15 chips, Quad-LED True Tone flash with a dual rear camera, 5G antennas and a 12 MP Ultra-wide front-facing camera supporting Center Stage.

The performance can even boost further if Apple goes with the 3nm A16 chips. But that would depend on chip availability and other factors.
