Recently, Google announced the list of apps that will stop working on phones. These apps are the basic apps that are present on the smartphone and have millions of downloads.
Google withdrew the support of Google Maps, Gmail, Youtube, Calendar and more. These apps stop working on older phones which are running on 2.3.7 or lower.
This android version launched in December 2010.One of the community managers said “As part of our ongoing efforts to keep our users safe, Google will no longer allow sign-in on Android devices that run Android 2.3.7 or lower starting September 27, 2021. If you sign in to your device after September 27, you may get username or password errors when you try to use Google products and services like Gmail, YouTube, and Maps”.
Google protects its users on the internet by urging its users to update their Android version to 3.0 as we all know Google regularly rolls out security updates to their users.

Lenovo K800, Vodafone Smart II, Samsung Galaxy S2, Sony Xperia P, Sony Xperia Advance, LG Spectrum, and Sony Xperia, LG Prada 3.0, HTC Velocity, HTC Evo 4G, Sony Xperia Go, Motorola Fire, and Motorola XT532.
