Starship SN20 launches for the first time for the static fire test.
SpaceX launches its Starship SN20, which successfully completed the static fire test. This test was a major problem for space crafts. SpaceX founder Elon Musk said, “ If all goes well, Starship will be ready for its first orbital launch attempt next month, pending regulatory approval". Just one of the two raptors was used during the test. One of them is a ‘Sea-level’ raptor while another one is a ‘vacuum’ version which is optimized for space.
Also, apart from regulator approval there also was an environmental impact review conducted by the FAA on SpaceX’s operation.
The Starship rocket program was launched in 2005 which operates by burning mixtures of Rocket propellent-1 and liquid oxygen.
