Is diabetes more deadly for women than men?



Diabetes is certain to be one of the most challenging health problems in the 21st century. The number of deaths attributed annually to diabetes is around 3.2 million. Heart disease is taking a huge toll on people with diabetes.

5. Due to less vaginal lubrication, women may experience pain and discomfort during intercourse



Tips for women to manage diabetes





It is important for women to control their blood sugar levels and follow a healthy lifestyle.


1. Eat food loaded with fiber


2. Consume fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes.


3. Cut down on junk, oily, canned foods. Do not opt for juices, desserts, sweets, colas, and sodas.


4. Reduce your salt intake


5. Exercise every day to control blood sugar levels.
